This past week one of my articles was featured on The Financial Diet, and if you haven’t had the chance, take a second and hop on over there to check it out.  I talk about how I lost confidence in myself after graduating from college and how I eventually figured out how to gain it back.  Best part:  I show you how you can find yours, too.  You can read the article here.

Now, as amazing as it was to get my article featured, I have even more exciting news:  I’m actually going to become a syndicated writer for TFD.  What does that mean?  Well, because they had such great feedback and traffic from my first, they will be featuring articles from my blog regularly on their site (i.e. 1-2 per month).  Those cartwheels I wanted to do for getting my article featured have now turned into back handsprings. And I can’t even do back handsprings.

Needless to say, this is a great opportunity for me and Britt & the Benjamins and one that has resulted from hours upon hours of work, many of which I would have rather spent binge-watching Parks and Rec or better yet, sleeping.  But hard work does pay off eventually, and I just want to let anyone else out there who is struggling to accomplish a goal know to simply keep going.  The finish line may look far away, but you’ve accomplished a lot of miles since passing over that starting line.  You’re making progress, and even if they’re baby steps, you’re getting closer.

Thanks again to all of you who read, comment, and share all these thoughts and ideas that come of out my head.  I’m looking forward to what this will mean for my blog and hope you continue to follow along on the journey with me :)
