As I said in my last post and many of us know, a lot of women aren’t comfortable with taking control of their finances, even though more and more of us are becoming financially independent. We’re starting our own careers, maintaining our own households, and waiting longer than ever to marry—and yet we’re still avoiding educating ourselves on something that effects our present and our future.
The following article is just further reiteration of this fact, and I hope you all take the chance to read it (especially since the woman quoted in the article is the wife of one my former co-workers!) and see how important it is to stop ignoring the elephant in the room. It really drives home the fact that we need to be a part of the money conversation. And I promise, with the next post we will get starting on educating you!
